Due to a change in nomenclature in NSF/ANSI 49 - 2002 “Class II (Laminar Flow) Biosafety Cabinetry,” Class II, Type A cabinets are now referred to as Class II, Type A1 and Class II, Types B3 and A/B3 cabinets as Class II, Type A2. Class II, Types B1 and B2 cabinets remain unchanged.

Biosafety cabinet models Listed under NSF/ANSI 49 are approved for use with a power supply of 115V/60Hz, unless otherwise noted. If biosafety cabinets have been approved for use with additional power supplies, the power supply will be indicated in the Official Listing.

    confirmed using the manufacturer's recommended alternate method with thermal anemometer
    in a constricted access opening, using the manufacturer-supplied probe holder and sash
    stop (consult manufacturer for appropriate correction factor, if applicable), without
    adjusting cabinet airflow balance. Downflow nominal set point of 55 fpm was established
    with I.V. Pole and U.V. Light removed. This cabinet model was Certified to NSF/ANSI
    49-2016.  This cabinet model is Certified for use with optional sidewall Vacu PassTM
    Cord & Cable Portal.

    instrument. This nominal set point was confirmed using the manufacturer's recommended
    alternate method with thermal anemometer in a constricted access opening, using the
    manufacturer-supplied probe holder and sash stop (consult manufacturer for appropriate
    correction factor, if applicable), without adjusting cabinet airflow balance. Downflow

    cabinet model was Certified to NSF/ANSI 49-2018.  This cabinet model is Certified for
    use with optional sidewall Vacu-PassTM Cord & Cable Portal.

NOTE: Bench stand models 3730300, 3730310, 3401003, 3780200 and 3780100 may be used with
      cabinets in the 30231xxx1/30238xxx1 Logic+ series. Bench stand models 3730400, 3730410,
      3401004, 3780201 and 3780101 may be used with cabinets in the 30241xxx1/30248xxx1/30242
      Logic+ series and the corresponding PuriCare series. Bench stand models 3730500,
      3730510, 3401005, 3780203, 3780106, 3780107, 3780312, and 3780316 may be used with
      cabinets in the 30251xxx1/30258xxx1 Logic+ series. Bench stand models 3730600, 3630610,
      3401006, 3780202 and 3780102 may be used with cabinets in the 30261xxx1/30268xxx1/30262
      Logic+ series and the corresponding PuriCare series.  Bench stand models 3730400 and
      34103003 may also be used with the 30348xxx1 Logic+ Series.  Bench stand models 3730600

      beginning with 378 may be used with or without the optional wheel kit (PN# 3784000).
