NSF Product and Service Listings

[1] These products are designed to be flushed out prior to using the system for drinking
    water.  Before being placed into service, the well is to be properly flushed according
    to the manufacturer's use instructions.  Certification of these products is based on the
    well drilling model with the following assumptions:
    - The amount of well drilling fluid used is 3780 L (1000 U.S. gallons) to which 
      the drilling fluid has been added at 7.6 L.
    - The aquifer contains 3.1 million liters of water (815,000 gallons) based on a 0.5 acre
      aquifer of 6.1 meter depth (20 ft.) and 25% porosity.
    - The bore hole is 61 meters in total depth (200 ft.), the screen is 6.1 meters in
    length
      (20 ft.), and the bore hole is 25.4 cm.  in diameter (10 in.).
    - The amount of well drilling fluid removed from the well during construction is equal
    to
      the combined volumes of the casing and the screen, plus an additional amount removed
      through the well disinfection and development (90% removed).

[1] This product contains sulfite.
   Sulfites have been known to cause potentially lethal
    allergic reactions in sulfite-sensitive individuals.
   The maximum recommended allowable
    residual sulfite level in the finished drinking water is 100 ppb (0.1 mg/L).

[AL] Based on an evaluation of health effects data, the level of aluminum in the finished
     drinking water shall not exceed 2 mg/L.

[1] This product is to be used for the destruction of residual chlorine.  It should be
    applied only to the extent necessary to ensure chlorine removal.  Actual chlorine
    concentration in the water should be sued to calculate the necessary dose of calcium
    thiosulfate.

[2] This product is designed to be used off-line and flushed out prior to using the system
    for drinking water, following manufacturer's use instructions.
[3] CITRIC ACID ANHYDROUS and CITRIC ACID GRANULAR are Certified for use as filter media
    cleaners.

[4] This product functions as a tank and filter cleaner.
[5] This product functions as a media cleaner.
[6] This product is designed to be used off-line and flushed out with a minimum 500:1
    volumes of backwash water prior to using the system for drinking water, following
    manufacturer's use instructions.
[7] The pH of the influent and efluent water should be monitored to ensure that all traces
    of the product have been removed before placing into service.
[HP] Use of this product shall be followed by chlorination to remove levels of hydrogen
     peroxide.  Chlorine residuals shall not exceed 4 mg/L, the EPA's proposed maximum
     residual level.

     dioxide, chlorate ion, chloramine and disinfection by-products shall be monitored in the
     finished drinking water to ensure compliance to all applicable regulations. Also,
     reference the AWWA B300 (Hypochlorites) standard's Recommendations for the Handling and
     Storage of Hypochlorite Solutions appendix for information on preservation techniques
     for hypochlorite bleach in transit and storage.

[ZN] Based on an evaluation of health effects data, the level of zinc in the finished
     drinking water shall not exceed 2.0 mg/L.

[PO] The finished drinking water shall be monitored to ensure that levels of manganese

     do not exceed 0.05 mg/L.
