[1] Certification of this product has been performed to the health effects requirements of NSF/ANSI/CAN 61, which assesses the acceptability of potential extractants from the chemical feeder when used with the manufacturer's recommended use chemicals. Any modifications including the use of chemicals other than those recommended by the manufacturer and chemicals that are not compliant to NSF/ANSI/CAN 60 will void the NSF Certification for this feeder. [2] Horizon PCF-60 is Certified for a maximum 0.2% calcium hypochlorite solution added to drinking water to effect a maximum use level (MUL) of 10 ppm total chlorine, with a minimum of 47,500 gallons of water treated per day. [3] Horizon PTF-60, Horizon PTF-100, and Horizon PTF-250 are Certified for a maximum 0.11% trichloroisocyanurate solution added to drinking water to effect a maximum use level (MUL) of 10 ppm total chlorine, with a minimum of 18,000 gallons of water treated per day. |
