[3] When media is loaded according to the instructions for Cryptosporidium parvum reduction:
this filter has demonstrated the ability to provide a 0.48 log reduction of
cryptosporidium parvum at a filtration rate of 3 GPM per square foot when tested with
3-um polystyrene microspheres.
[4] These products successfully comply with the adopted Standard language under section
6.1.9.1 for regenerative media conditioning. In addition to the current requirements for
precoat filter visual inspection of cleanability and design filtration rate of 3 gpm/sq.
ft. of the uncoated element surface area.
