Crystals, the maximum disinfectant feed concentration shall not exceed 10 mg Cl2/L. This
requirement limits bromate production in the effluent sodium hypochlorite and is based
on the bromide concentration in the salt.
[2] For electrolytic sodium hypochlorite generator use of KD CRS SO BULK NSF®, the maximum
disinfectant feed concentration shall not exceed 4.5 mg Cl2/L. This requirement limits
bromate production in the effluent sodium hypochlorite and is based on the bromide
concentration in the salt.
