NSF International now tests and certifies the filters used in portable water filter bottles against NSF American national standards for drinking water treatment products. > Read More

NSF International and Japan Water Purification Agency (JWPA) Completing Protocol that Can Evaluate Drinking Water Treatment Products' Ability to Reduce Iodine from Water

NSF International and the Japan Water Purification Association (JWPA) are completing a jointly developed protocol to evaluate the ability of certain water filtration products to reduce iodine (including radioactive iodine) from drinking water. Once the protocol is complete, manufacturers can have their activated carbon, ion exchange, and reverse osmosis water filtration technologies tested and certified to ensure effective iodine reduction. The program was announced at the WQA Aquatech show in Las Vegas today. > Read More

Companies Can Now Verify the Safety and Quality of Dietary Supplement and Food Ingredients Sourced from Asia via NSF International's ISO 17025-Accredited Lab in Shanghai

NSF International has achieved ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation from the China National Accreditation Service (CNAS) for its laboratory in Shanghai, China. The NSF Shanghai Testing Laboratory provides dietary supplement and food ingredient companies with a means to source safer products, raw materials and ingredients from Asia through independent, accredited third-party testing and certification.
